You don't have to replace your toilet to get most of what a smart toilet does. The Dive bolts onto the elongated toilet you already own and connects to the water line that's already there. Most people are done in about twenty minutes.

The wand oscillates — that's the difference

Cheap bidet attachments fire one fixed stream and expect you to move. The Dive's nozzle travels back and forth while spraying, and it's positionally adjustable on top of that. Three wash settings: a gentle child setting, a feminine wash, and a standard rear wash. There's also a spa mode that cycles between warm and room temperature.

Everything stays warm

Heated seat, warm water at a consistent set temperature, and a warm-air dryer for after. Water pressure and temperature are both adjustable, so you can dial it in rather than living with somebody else's default.

Hygiene and air

Self-cleaning nozzle. A built-in deodorizer filters bowl air, and an air purifier handles odor-causing agents in the room. A seat pressure sensor keeps the spray off unless someone is actually seated — which sounds obvious until you've owned a seat that didn't have it.

Night use

An automatic night light comes on when the bathroom is dark. Soft-closing lid, so it never slams.

Will it fit your toilet?

It's built for elongated bowls, and the mounting holes adjust from 5.12 to 8.27 inches apart. Measure the distance between your existing seat bolts and the bowl shape before you order. If you have a round bowl, look at the ANZZI Smart Bidet Seat instead — it comes in both shapes.

Power

This is an electric seat. It needs a GFCI outlet near the toilet. If you don't have one, the ANZZI Minnow manual seat at $99.99 runs on water pressure alone and needs no power at all.
